Institutional Scholarships
Institutional Scholarship awards are approved by the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Scholarship Committee.
The Scholarship committee reviews the applications, and the awards are made through the Financial Aid Office. Students must apply online at UA Rich Mountain Scholarship Application website.
Priority Deadline: January 30th
Scholarship designated to students who are looking to be involved in SGA or be a UARM Ambassador. Students applying must have a 3.0 GPA from high school or college, provide an essay regarding his/her leadership experience and one letter of recommendation from a high school or college staff member/administrator. Student must be enrolled full-time.
Criteria to renew: Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and be enrolled full-time each semester at UA Rich Mountain.Scholarship designated to students demonstrating high leadership qualities and characteristics. Students applying must have a 3.0 GPA from high school or college, provide an essay regarding his/her leadership experience and one letter of recommendation from a high school or college staff member/administrator. Student must be enrolled full-time.
Criteria to renew: Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and be enrolled full-time each semester at UA Rich Mountain.
Scholarship to be used toward on campus housing. Students applying must live within 90 miles of campus.
*NOTE: Due to NJCAA rules, student athletes are not eligible for this scholarship.
Criteria to renew: Maintain the UA Rich Mountain satisfactory academic progress policy.
Scholarship designated to students that took classes through the concurrent credit program or through the career center while in high school. Award amounts are determined by the number of concurrent hours the student has earned.
Criteria to renew: Maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and be enrolled full-time each semester at UA Rich Mountain.
*NOTE: Award amounts will be prorated if student is not enrolled full-time.
**DISCLAIMER: The scholarship is continuous for up to 90 attempted credit hours or the completion of an associate degree or certificate. Once an associate degree or certificate is obtained, you will no longer be eligible for SEFS Scholarship.
** All scholarships are restricted to institutional charges.
